Q: how will i know which house is yours?
A: it’s painted periwinkle and has a human sized bird cage in the yard- along with a giant egg/womb covered in tar and filled with dirt and there’s a cardboard cut out of Angry Hulk in the outside window. you can’t miss it.

I’ve been listening to lots of Aloha, getting ready for their new album that comes out in March. Some Echoes has always been my least favorite Aloha record, but I decided to give it another shot in the spirit of being a completist. This song just hit me. The simple, yet charming melody and then the lyrics just sunk in. It sometimes takes context and the right time for something you’ve heard before to grab you just the way it should. This song gives me a bit of much needed hope that I’ve been searching for lately.
